The Push up!
Definitely up there with the best bodyweight workouts. Benefits;

There are many different variations of the push up and there is a difference between a push up and a press up...but that's for another day.
My clients may start modifying their push ups (due to injury, ROM or fitness level) but everyone works their way to FULL ones.
Yes I do have a process for push ups and I take note of everyone...
1. Modified push up
2. Push up with quarter depth
3. Push up with half depth
4. Push up with full depth
5. Advanced press ups..like the guys below - The Incline Push up.
