⛳️ With the excitement building for the start of the Masters in Augusta on Thursday, the first men’s golf major of the year, it’s a good time to reflect on a sport that has developed commercial momentum coming out of the pandemic.
ONSIDE’s 2022 Industry Report suggests golf is a sponsorship platform potentially on the rise. Indeed, 45% of industry professionals see golf as a sponsorship opportunity in the next 1-3 years, up 10% from 2021.

Although sport dominates this years survey list of the most effective rights holder partners in the eyes of sponsors (IrishRugby) GAA Team Ireland Horse Racing Ireland), they are also joined on the list this year by the Guinness Cork Jazz which made a triumphant return in 2021.
This serves as an important reminder of the opportunities that will be available around sponsorship, as more festivals and the wider entertainment sector rejuvenate throughout 2022.
