Lots 852 and 861 are totally unique 1800s Irish gold ciboriums.
They head to auction on day two of the sale both wearing estimates of €30000 - €40000 and attracting significant pre-sale attention.

Crafted by the sisters of Ballyshannon Convent, these rare early 20th century oak hall chairs offer a fascinating glimpse into a largely forgotten tradition of Irish convent craftsmanship.
Beautifully carved with oak leaves and barley twist columns, they combine practical design with skilled workmanship and a unique provenance.
Offered as two pairs, Lots 576 and 577, they'll appear on day two of the sale with estimates of €200 - €400 a pair.
