Hungry Crow

West Cork markets are where Hungry Crow began. 11 years ago, in the Summer of 2015, a tent borrowed from Shane Red Strand Coffee was transported by Gik at Olives West Cork. Mark sourced two trestles and a sheet of plywood and hessian for the stall. Niamh made crows nests and filled them with her alternative energy bars to sell at Skibbereen Market.

⏱️ Niamh sold out in 45 minutes.

Over the coming weeks, the stall looked a bit bare. That’s when Niamh decided to start stuffing Medjool dates and dipping them in chocolate...

If you’ve visited our chocolate shop at Casement Street, Clonakilty, you’ll know it’s tiny! It’s wonderful for us to reach a wider audience at local farmers’ markets. You can find our Hungry Crow stall at Bantry Market every Friday, and The Skibbereen Farmers Market every Saturday, selling our handmade chocolates, truffles, and enrobed Medjool dates.

🎪☕️🧺 Markets offer our customers a lovely experience for a great day out, supporting local food producers and makers - grab a coffee from our buddies at Red Strand Coffee when you see their red van, or pick & mix an artisan picnic feast from the Olives West Cork stall, with decadent treats from Hungry Crow for dessert.
