Revelation 6 reveals Jesus as the Lamb who is worthy not only to redeem, but also to judge.

He is the One who opens the seals.
He governs the unfolding of history.
He limits the powers of destruction.
He hears the cries of His martyrs.
He exposes every false refuge.

He is not a passive observer of world chaos.

He is not a sentimental version of Jesus who saves but never judges.

He is the slain Lamb whose wrath is real, whose justice is holy, and whose purposes cannot be stopped.

The wrath of the Lamb is not arbitrary, impatient, or cruel.

It is the holy justice of the One who first offered mercy.

The Lamb who judges is the Lamb who was slain.
