Keep that wheel turning.......

This week sees the last of our 2012 classes, as we approach the festive season, and while some will be under a great deal of pressure with their own preparations, I urge all of you to give one last push in attending [a] class this week. We have a long lay-off period of almost three weeks, and this is sure to have a regression effect for some.

You may not have reached your goals, and if I were to use the analogy of a wheel, there may be a small bulge still here or there, however these imperfections are only evident to you. You too, could possibly be out of alignment, however, most misalignments are only visible to the eye testing for this. You may be feeling a little worn in places, however, age-degeneration is a friend to us all.

Regardless of where you are in terms of the wheel, the most important thing is that you keep your body moving.

I am here now, and will continue to be here in 2013, to help in everyway I can to improve upon those imperfections, and with a little more care and attention, some day soon, you will be the best you have ever been.

GAA News.......!!

Last night's Cork Senior and U21s' Presentation evening at the Rochestown Park Hotel, was a great occasion. There was plenty of silverware on display, even though the all-important ones were missing.

Players from both teams, along with management and staff were honoured for their successes in 2012, winning both Munster titles against the men from the Kingdom. Added to those cups were the National Legue title and McGrath Cup. For many a county this would be an impressive achievement, however with expectations as they are on Leeside, we'll be aiming for more.

How, we hope to repeat this feat next year, by going one step further, and taking a clean sweep with all silverware on offer.

Continued success to the Senior and U21 squads. We are working hard behinds the scenes to get the lads in the best possible condition for the upcoming year.

Let 2013 be the year that the Rebel County enjoys its greatest successes.
