Happy Saint Brigid’s Day, or, as known by the Celts, Imbolc. Imbolc was an important celebration for pagans, celebrating the end of a dark winter and ushering in a new season of growth. It celebrated the goddess Brigid, who became a saint once Christianity came to Ireland.

Being from Kildare, I have grown up hearing the (Christian) stories about her and weaving the St. Brigid crosses in school, to bring them home to my family for a year of good fortune.

Today, St. Brigid’s Day is the first public holiday to commemorate a women 💚

Imbolc, an old Irish term, designates the period between the winter solstice and spring equinox. The concept of a transitional phase and rebirth served as the muse for this collection, which for the first time features cotton knitwear and is our most colourful collection to date.

We hope you love it as much as we did designing/making it.
