The latest findings from The New Retirement Reality highlight a gap between demand for support and what is currently in place.
Just 32% of employers offer a structured retirement planning programme, while 65% provide support only in the final 1–5 years before retirement.
This suggests many employees start planning too late, limiting their ability to make informed decisions.
Earlier engagement can help people better understand their options, prepare financially, and plan for the transition ahead.
