What an amazing race at with my team and friends! It was an outstanding day participating in Ironman 70.3 Cascais!
The swim was tough and I was so tired, but I'm glad I pushed through! I became the happiest girl once I hit the bike course - you know I absolutely love cycling! I was on fire with my speed!
The run was challenging due to the heat, and the rolling hills made it even harder in those hot conditions! I mixed running and walking to get through it. I kept telling myself, "I am NOT giving up because that's not who I am!" I was doing this for my cousin Mary in spirit, and I knew she was there with me the whole race day, cheering me on! She was the one who gave me her triathlon bike, and I'm so proud to have honored her memory today.
So proud to see my Tritanium team cross the finish line in one piece - they were so amazing and incredible! Some of them even completed the full Ironman! Savage team! 💪
I'm looking forward to the next event, though I haven't decided where yet! Some Ironman events for 2026 are already sold out! 😳
Also super proud of my friends who finished with great times! 👏 Well done, everyone! 🎉

I joined my first triathlon club at and made it through to become a tough and successful athlete, thanks to the club who are very positive with encouragement for beginners I was so happy with my progress. 👏👏👏
I made mistakes at TriAthy, learned from them and prepared for Wicklow harbourman race which I performed very well at and I loved every minute of it. I also participated in my first ever dualthlon at the Phoniex park which I became very excited about, I took part in Ironman 70.3 Cork! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️💪💪
Looking forward to returning as Cycling Ireland member again with IrishCycleSport next year . . .yay! 🚴🏼♀️🚴🏼♀️🚴🏼♀️

I will be really looking forward to 2024, an epic of triathlon races, gravel cycle and road cycle challenges, watch this space 😀😀😀😀 merry Christmas 🎅 xx
