We’re delighted to start 2026 by welcoming Oscar-winning director Victoria Warmerdam to our roster.

Victoria is known for her distinctive blend of dark humour, relatable absurdism, and razor-sharp social commentary. In 2025, she won the Academy Award® for Best Live Action Short with her brilliantly offbeat dark comedy I’m Not a Robot, which also earned top honours winning more than 70 awards across a remarkable festival run spanning over 200 screenings worldwide.

Her earlier shorts, Mustachio and Short Calf Muscle, have together collected over 100 awards and more than 60 nominations, further cementing her reputation for stories that walk the fine line between drama and comedy while challenging societal norms with wit and insight.

Victoria is currently developing several original feature films, including a feature adaptation of I’m Not a Robot.

We’re so excited to bring her bold, brilliant storytelling into the commercial world.
