𝗖𝗡𝗗 𝟲𝟵 | 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 🇫🇮, 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮

At this 𝟲𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 (𝗖𝗡𝗗 𝟲𝟵), we strengthened our ties with 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 🇫🇮, 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗮 , counting with their willingness to co-sponsor the side event: “𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆”, organized by 𝗘𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗸𝗿𝗲𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗲𝗻 and 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁. Special thanks to support of Otto Korhonen, Advisor at the Finnish Embassy, for the coordination and continued support.

The contribution of Dr. 𝗧𝘂𝘂𝗸𝗸𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶 from the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 (𝗧𝗛𝗟) at the side event was crucial in highlighting the importance of rigorous, publicly accessible scientific research for the development of public policies that benefit citizens.

As H.E. Ambassador 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗵𝘁𝗶 noted in her statement on Monday, March 03.09.2026, at the 𝗖𝗡𝗗 𝟲𝟵: “𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘨 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘪𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘮𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯”, 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁 work in developing evidence-based research for drug policy aligns with this approach.
