MET EIREANN UPGRADE ALERT AT 9pm
Wind Warning for Munster, Wexford and Galway A storm depression will generate very strong winds at times overnight and on Saturday, especially over Munster Southwest to south winds with mean speeds of 55 to 75 km/hr will gust to speeds of 100 to 130 km/hr at times overnight. Amazingly enough Met Eireann waited till midday to upgrade their gale warning to an Orange Alert and advised that gale force winds were imminent. Someone must have looked out the window!!!
