Following this weekend’s events in which Sea Scouts assisted a swimmer in difficulty, members of 5th Port Dollymount Sea Scout Group were featured yesterday on the Oliver Callan Show on RTÉ Radio 1.
In this clip, Oisín and Aoibheann share what it was like to respond in the moment, just minutes after practising man-overboard drills. A great example of why we invest so heavily in youth training and development.
We are very proud of these young scouts and their volunteer leaders for putting their training into practice when it really mattered.
