Our After Schools Summer Programme is off to a fantastic start! 🌞

The first weeks of summer have been all about exploring, learning and trying new experiences. From discovering incredible artwork at IMMA - Irish Museum of Modern Art and creating some of their own, to learning about biodiversity, conservation and how we can all help protect our planet during a brilliant talk from Tara at Dublin Zoo, it’s been a summer full of curiosity and adventure.

Creating opportunities like these helps young people build confidence, broaden their horizons and experience places and ideas they might not otherwise have the chance to explore.

Looking back on the past year, we’re proud to share that we worked with 950+ young people across all of our programmes, including 321 intensive, long-term youth work engagements.

Every number represents a young person, a relationship built, and a step towards a brighter future. Thank you to everyone who supports our work and helps make this impact possible.

It was a pleasure to welcome Senator Evanne Ní Chuilinn to our offices last week to learn more about our work and continue the conversation around the need for increased investment in youth work.

The visit followed on from the .ie Local Champions programme, where some of our youth workers joined colleagues from across the sector to advocate for youth work and raise awareness of the vital role it plays in the lives of young people and communities. We’re proud to continue those conversations and advocate for sustainable funding that enables youth work to thrive.
