Postcards from Corcovado Mountain - one of Rio’s Iconic Peaks 🌄

This granite giant rises 710 meters above Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 and is topped by the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World! ✨

Wondering how to get there? For a scenic route, hop on the Corcovado Train, which takes you through the rainforest to the summit 🚂 If you have time and feel more adventurous, try hiking one of the trails through Tijuca Forest to reach the top 🥾

There’s so much you can do once you’re there!

If you’re a thrill-seeker, you can even try rock climbing up Corcovado’s granite face or for an extra adrenaline rush, go paragliding over the city! 🪂

The views from the top are beyond amazing—you’ll spot Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana Beach and the stunning landscape of Rio below ✨

Fun fact 💡: “Corcovado” means “hunchback” in Portuguese—pretty fitting when you see its shape, right?
