NAME: Lennon Collins

SPECIES: Catfish

SIZE: 68cm (19.4lb)

REPORT: I headed out targeting Carp but ended up catching this absolute beast instead. The Catfish put up a great fight from start to finish, but everything went to plan and I managed to land it safely. A brilliant surprise catch and one I’ll definitely remember.

FISH OF THE MONTH ENTRY.

NAME: Callum Kelly

CATEGORY: Senior

SPECIES: Brown Trout

SIZE: 2.5lb (50cm)

REPORT: I’d been fishing a new local river over the last few weeks, and today it finally paid off with this lovely wild Brown Trout. The fish weighed 2.5lb and measured 50cm. It was caught on worms and put up a great fight before I managed to land it. After a few quick photos, it was carefully rested and released safely to fight another day.
