Eight

It is with a heavy heart, Eight Gallery Dublin announces it's forthcoming closure.

Eight has been graciously accommodated at no.8 Dawson Street by it's parent gallery and financial director at Sol Art Gallery since 2012.
With their imminent relocation and the need for a fresh start, the decision to end Eight on the right note was carefully deliberated and arrived upon.

For the best part of six years, I have voluntarily run Eight Gallery.
In that time, it has been my utmost pleasure working with a constant abundance of creative minds to whom I am deeply indebted,
and I know and appreciate that Eight's small contribution has not gone unnoticed.

A number of shows will be held before Eight's final closure, in it's new temporary premises on D'Olier Street D2 (details to follow).

Thank you sincerely to all who attended and contributed to Eight over the years.
On to the next incarnation.

Eight Gallery will never quite be the same. Missing you already!
Thanks to all who contributed to The dust carried me into the watchful summer at Eight and especially to Bassam Al-Sabah, for making this a deeply eloquent and sincere experience.
