The acting world thrives on connections! Industry events are a goldmine for meeting casting directors, agents, and fellow actors. But how do you turn those fleeting hellos into meaningful connections?
Here are some tips to network like a pro!
✅ Be Prepared: Research the event and attendees beforehand. Know who you want to meet and what you want to say.
✅ Be Approachable: Smile, make eye contact, and have open body language. Let your enthusiasm shine through!
✅ Focus on Quality, Not Quantity: Don't just collect business cards. Spark genuine conversations and ask insightful questions.
✅ Offer Value: What can you bring to the table? Share your knowledge, offer support, or express genuine interest in their work.
✅ Follow Up: Send a personalized email after the event, thanking them for their time and highlighting a specific detail from your conversation.
Remember: Networking is about building relationships, not just getting something. By being genuine and engaged, you'll leave a lasting impression and pave the way for future opportunities!

I used to get bummed after bad auditions too.
That self-doubt would creep in and mess with my next performance. But I found a way to banish those feelings and open up a "natural success channel" in my mind.
Here's how:
1. Relive the bad feelings (briefly!). Get in touch with them, see and hear what happened. Then...
2. Step outside the picture. ️ Imagine the audition as a scene in front of you. You're watching it, not in it.
3. Move the picture away. ♀️ Imagine it getting smaller and further, and feel your emotions shifting.
4. Drain the color and shrink it. Make it black and white, then tiny like a postage stamp.
5. Toss it away! Fling that bad audition into the past and watch it transform into positive light. ✨
6. Visualize your next triumph! Picture yourself shining at the next audition, feeling confident and nailing it.
Bonus tip: Before sleep, imagine your success and immerse yourself in those positive vibes.
Remember, every audition is a learning experience.
Use this technique to shake off the negativity and step into your next one feeling unstoppable!
Don't forget to share this on your story so your fellow actors who need a pick-me-up can see this!
