Luana has a background in marine conservation and founded a Galway based charity called CuriOcean in 2019 to raise awareness around marine conservation topics.

Climate Action, Beach, Dogs, and DIY what's not to love about Luana and Pat's Toy Library initiative?

Check out how Climate Ambassador Pat and Climate Action Officer Luana collaborated on their shared vision to bring toy libraries to the beaches of Salthill and how they used the help of their Climate Ambassador community and Galway City Council's 'Love Your Beach' event to successfully create a toy library on Grattan beach where kids can donate and borrow toys and reduce plastic left on the beach!
