Molly’s Friday warehouse check is under way.
SVL’s unofficial warehouse supervisor is keeping a close eye on the stock, the team and the yellow protection barriers around her.
She might take a few extra breaks, but her standards remain high.
A lighter Friday moment from the SVL warehouse, where site protection and damage prevention are part of everyday work.

On the road for site protection.
Another bright day with the SVL team out across Ireland, helping businesses look at where avoidable damage can happen before it becomes a bigger problem.
Busy sites have busy movement: vehicles, pedestrians, deliveries, trolleys, racking, doorways, loading areas and repeated contact points.
For us, good protection starts with seeing the site properly, understanding how people and vehicles move, and helping teams choose the right protection for the space.
Practical. Site-focused. Built around keeping busy areas moving safely.

Good protection starts before anything is installed.
This photo shows the kind of conversation that matters before a protection layout is chosen.
In a working warehouse, risk is rarely just one point on a drawing.
-> It is the way forklifts move through the aisle,
-> the turning space around racking,
-> pedestrian routes,
-> exposed corners,
-> stock movement and
->the places where small impacts happen again and again.
That is why effective site protection starts with understanding daily operations first.
At SVL, we look at how a site actually works before recommending the right solution.
The goal is simple:
>> protect the areas that need it,
>> keep people and vehicles moving safely,
>> and reduce avoidable damage over time.
Because the best protection is planned before the first fixing goes into the floor.

📌 Protection starts with understanding how a site moves.
For us, good impact protection is not just about choosing a product and installing it. It starts much earlier than that.
It starts with observing how a site actually works:
🟡 how people move,
🟡 where forklifts travel,
🟡 where stock is handled,
🟡 where assets sit,
🟡 and where repeated contact is most likely to happen.
Once those movement patterns are clear, the protection strategy becomes much more practical.
That is the difference between simply adding protection and putting protection where it can actually prevent damage.
