Here are 3 simple tips to get it right every time:

Get in close to the load. The closer you are, the easier it will be to maintain proper manual handling technique and reduce the load on your body.

Bend your knees, not your back! Keep your spine straight while lifting.

Ask for help if the load is too heavy or awkward to lift safely. Never be afraid to ask for help with a heavy load, it could prevent major injury!
