What a wonderful evening with Carra Singers

Thank you so much to the Musical Director of Carra Singers Aušra Kvietkutė, who also set up Lakštingėla Lithuanian Folk Ensemble supporting the National Breast Cancer Research Institute in it’s work .. We are so grateful..

On the eve of our summer concert, we introduce you to the Musical Director of Carra Singers Aušra Kvietkutė, who also set up Lakštingėla Lithuanian Folk Ensemble who will be performing tomorrow evening. Aušra has been director of Carra Singers since 2018, having previously accompanied the choir. She is a piano and voice teacher and runs Carra Music School, which is based in Castlebar and Belcarra, where enjoys teaching music to children and adults of all ages. She is a qualified teacher with a Masters degree in Music from Klaipėda University in Lithuania. Aušra is an accomplished pianist and singer and has sung with and accompanied many choirs. She brings her wide-ranging knowledge and passion for music to Carra Singers, along with an ability to get the best out of her singers.
