I had a great time last weekend writing and recording a new song Nerve Centre, Derry . This was part of the Songlines Project which is a cross-border music development and performance programme facilitated by Leitrim Arts. I'm looking forward to loads of exciting things happening over the next few months

Playing in Galway city this Saturday with Vsevolod Plotkin, Numbskull Narrative and Earthworms. Pop in if your around Galway City. It will be great night of live music.

With just over a week until Manor Punk Night on Sat 30th August its time to introduce you to the four amazing acts playing on the night:

First we have the young and upcoming all female teenage band Deadbeat Dolls:

are 5 punk rockin chicks, from Leitrim bringing a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere with their catchy melodies and heavy drum beats

Next up we have the Manor via Kilty singer songwriter Cian Rock:

is a prolific songwriter who brings a refreshing and unique sound to the Irish Alternative music scene. His original songs are laced with stand out lyrics and searing guitar lines. Cians live shows have become a must see.

Second last band on the night will be local punk legends Qness:

are a four piece female fronted punk band from North Leitrim. They are led by the enigmatic Q on Guitar and lead vocals. Their original songs are an eclectic mix of sounds with strong elements of ska and grunge thrown in for good measure. They have been honing their live sound over the past few months and will be a band to watch out for on the north-west music scene.

The last act playing on the night will be Ronan McManus who performs under thr stage alias Forgotten|Soldier:

is a Leitrim based post-punk solo artist who uses a groovebox and guitar to create punk driven tracks. All the tracks contain passionate and searing vocals that question and probe both local and national issues in a style similar to Meryl Streek. The music's soaring and punchy sound has strong nods to 80s bands The Minutemen and Mission of Burma.
