This year’s Westside Arts Festival programme is now available! There’s plenty happening over the five days, so come along and get involved.
Just note that some events need to be booked in advance, while others will run on a first-come, first-served basis due to limited space. Bookings for the Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance workshops must be made in person at the library.

📚 Such a lovely visit to finish the school year!
We were so happy to welcome 1st class from Scoil Bhríde for their last visit before the summer holidays — with lots of stories, laughs and great books.
And a big thank you for the amazing handmade thank you cards… they really made our day! 💚

'Brush Strokes' a series of artworks created during stroke recovery by Tuam artist Brendan McHugh is now on display at Westside Library, following a successful exhibition at the Arts Corridor in University Hospital Galway.
“Brush Strokes” features 11 pieces inspired by Brendan’s hospital experience and recovery, alongside influences from horror and science fiction, developed through his work with the Saolta Arts programme. Galway Public Libraries Galway City Council
