Hello. I'm seeking someone very horse-friendly/horse experienced who can come live at my 5 bedroom house in the Dordogne just outside of Nontron (24300) from March 15th-March 31st to take care of the property and my animals. I have 7 horses (all very nice, various sizes/ages), 4 dogs (friendly), 1 indoor cat, 1 half in/half out cat, and 2 strays in the barn. Horses are fed grain mix (soaked) 2x a day (08:00 and 17:30 - takes about 30-45 minutes each time) and hay 3x a day (same as grain times and also around lunch time). Dogs and cats are fed 2x a day. I have a sand school (40m x 20m) just installed, a 20m round pen, and a spare paddock, so it's possible to bring a horse or two along. We're paying 50 euros a day for just the care of the animals and house, and if this person is a serious horse rider/trainer, an additional 160 euros per week to ride my 2 horses 4x a week to keep them in shape. So in total it's 17 days at 50 euros a day (850 euros) and if training added (1170 euros). Anyone interested or know someone who might be interested.
