If i was going to pick an antivirus program, it would have to be Avast 2014. The new 2014 version sees Avast celebrating their 25th anniversary.

They have redesigned the user display, giving it a very slick, simplistic feel. The free version is more than enough for any user.

One thing to note though is its protection against malware is just average. So make sure you use something like malwarebytes alongside avast for complete protection.
