The first aid first team had a very successful week. Our goal was finally achieved. The team put together a presentation for head of the new well being section in the new junior cycle Betty Mclaughlin. We were overwhelmed when Betty informed us that she would put our course under the well being section so that it would be compulsory for first year students to learn basic CPR as part of there school curriculum nationwide.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Gemma Lynch and Donal McCabe for all their hard work and dedication to Our project and all the other members of the order of malta who put the time and effort into our parents night in the school , coming to Lmfm with us and various meetings in the school.
We would like to thank county councilors Wayne Forde ,Sean drew, TD Thomas Byrne and of course Betty McLaughlin for working with us to accomplish our goal! 💙🇮🇪
