🚜🐄 Farm Fun at Preschool! 🐑🐥

Over the past week we have been learning about life on the farm. The children learned about the important role of the farmer and discovered the different animals that live on a farm, what they provide for us, and the names of their baby animals.

Our farm theme came to life through a variety of exciting sensory and hands-on activities. The children enjoyed feeding the farm animals, trying their hand at milking cows, creating wonderful artwork using animal and tractor paint stamping, and washing our very muddy farm animals clean!

During circle time, we used a range of books, songs, and interactive games to reinforce our learning. These activities helped the children build their vocabulary, develop their understanding of life on the farm, and engage their imaginations through storytelling, music, and play.

The last 2 weeks in preschool we are learning all about Healthy Food & Healthy Bodies! 💪

We are exploring how nutritious foods help us grow strong, stay active, and keep our bodies healthy. From colorful fruits and veggies to fun movement activities, we are discovering healthy habits through play, stories, crafts, and hands-on learning.

We also learned about how amazing our bodies are and about the organs, muscles and bones inside which work so hard together to make us function.

This week in preschool, we had so much fun exploring the exciting world of transport! 🚗✈️🚤

We learned about different types of vehicles and how they help us travel from place to place, and the three categories of travel- land, sea and air.

Through stories, art and hands-on activities, the children practiced sorting and categorising different types of transport. It was wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they made connections and shared their own experiences of travelling.

We finished the week with a fun sorting game where everyone worked together to place vehicles into the correct groups—land, sea, or air.
