We are in Leopardstown with runner.

▪️J M’S JOY makes her debut in the 7furlong 2yo fillies maiden at 6:20. Joy is a lovely homebred filly by Elzaam out of a quirky but talented mare we trained called Kaitlins Joy. Joy isn’t unlike her mother in many ways and has plenty of character but seems to show a nice bit of ability thus far, all of her work at home and away has been improving all the time and she is ready to start. This seems to be a tidy enough maiden but we are hopeful that she can be competitive in things go her way. Wesley Joyce rides.

Today we are in our local track with one runner.

▪️EXPLORERS WAY takes his chance in the 1mile 2furlongs apprentice handicap at 4:45. Explorer won in good fashion in Down Royal 3weeks ago. He received a 4lb rise in the weights which has put him out of the 47-65 bracket so we’ve had to step him up in class a bit but we think that will help as he likes to have a strong gallop to aim at. He’s been in good form since so we are hopeful of being in the mix in what looks a strong contest. Adam Caffrey rides.

Today we head to leopardstown with one runner.

▪️SO MESSI goes in the 1mile 1furlong 47-65 handicap at 8:00. Messi was very disappointing in Tipperary the last day where he never looked as comfortable so we just put it down being too testing for his liking. Today we are back to a track that he likes on a much sounder surface. His work at home suggests that he has one of these races in his locker but things just need to go right for him. We will make use of his good draw and go forward. Hoping for a big run. James Ryan rides.
