For many people, Ability is more than just a therapy centre. It’s a safe space, a community, and a lifeline.🐴

Every week, we support children and adults facing physical disabilities, additional needs, mental health challenges, and difficult periods in their lives through equine-assisted therapy. For some of our clients, Ability is the only activity they attend and one of the few places where they truly feel confident, supported, and connected.

But today, we are facing a very real challenge.
As a small charity, we receive no government funding towards our running costs. Everything we do is made possible through fundraising, donations, and the support of our community. 🤲

Right now, we urgently need to raise funds to cover our annual insurance costs.

Without insurance, we cannot operate. It is one of the most essential costs for keeping Ability open safely for the children, adults, and families who rely on us every single week. 💙

We are asking for your help to keep Ability going.
Whether it’s the cost of a coffee, sharing this page with friends and family, or simply helping us spread the word, every bit of support genuinely makes a difference to a small charity like ours.

Your donation will help ensure that Ability can continue providing life-changing equine-assisted therapy and a safe, welcoming environment for the people who need it most.

Thank you for supporting Ability and helping us continue this important work. 💙 Go Fund Me linked in bio 🫶

A Heartwarming Surprise at St. Francis Hospice 🐴❤️

There are some moments that remind you exactly why we do what we do. Recently, we had the absolute privilege of loading up Duke and Frodo for a very special trip to St. Francis Hospice in Blanchardstown.

The mission? A total surprise for the lovely Lorna.
Lorna has held a lifelong love for horses, but since she couldn't make it out to the stables, we decided to bring the stables to her! When she saw two fuzzy faces peering through the garden, the joy was instantaneous. There’s something truly magical about the quiet connection between a horse and a human—a sense of peace that words can’t quite capture.

Highlights of the Day:
• The Big Reveal: The look of pure shock and delight on Lorna’s face when Duke and Frodo arrived was priceless.

• Family Time: It was so special to see Lorna surrounded by her family, sharing smiles and making new memories together in the beautiful hospice gardens.

• Gentle Giants: As always, Duke and Frodo were on their best behavior, soaking up all the chin scratches and carrots Lorna & family had to offer.

"Sometimes, the best medicine has a mane, a tail, and four hooves."

A massive thank you to the incredible team at St. Francis Hospice for helping us coordinate this and for the vital, compassionate work they do every single day. Being able to bring a bit of the stable to Lorna and her family is a memory we’ll be holding onto for a long time.
Sending so much love to Lorna and her wonderful family. ✨

It has been a lovely, sunny week for our equine therapy sessions. ☀️🐴
We love it when the sun is out 😃The energy is always calm, the riders are focused, and our horses are in their element. We’ve seen some wonderful progress and shared plenty of bright moments throughout the week.
A huge thank you to our dedicated riders and, of course, our four-legged therapists for making this week so productive and peaceful.
