This book is my account of a medical journey I embarked on 22 years ago with kidney failure, and one I am still on today with 5 major surgeries in the last 2 years, 2 colostomy bags, beating sepsis twice, but living to tell the tale with positivity and hope.

It is a journey that has had many ups and downs, but I feel that the whole experience has made me a stronger man with endless positivity and a zest for life I never knew I possessed. I now look to each day as an opportunity to better my life and my family's life.

In my book, I address the potential stress factors among dialysis patients and how I overcame them and the stigma around stoma bags / colostomy bags, and how I dealt with that too and how I continue to lead a healthy, active, fulfilling life.

I want to let people know, who may experience low, dark feelings on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, but these feelings can be replaced with good ones by doing the stuff you dreamed of but maybe never had the courage to do.
If I can help a small number of people achieve a better, more positive life by reading this book,
I will be a very happy man.
