top tips to spot a burglar

1.Look out for unfamiliar people in your area window shopping for houses. Spot them looking into the property.
2.Look out for marks left by burglars. They may identify your house with chalk, stones etc.
3.Look out for people coming to the door looking for people that don’t live there. This is often a front for a burglar casing the house.
4.Watch out for distraction burglaries. A stranger at the door could be providing cover for a burglar round the back. If a burglar comes to your door, it will not be him but his accomplice who will commit the robbery
