Today we recognise and thank the incredible women in Civil Defence who volunteer their time, skills and dedication to support our communities.

Kicking Off January the Right Way

Our year is off to a strong start, with volunteers on duty at the Art O'Neil Pursuit and Challenge, supporting this fantastic event in aid of Dublin-Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team.

A special Thank you goes to Kilkenny Civil Defence for their support in this event that is always greatly appreciated 👏.

It was a privilege to work alongside their teams and members of the Scouting community in 5th Wicklow (Bray) Sea Scout Group showing once again the power of teamwork and shared purpose.

At the same time, we’ve successfully run another Search Responder Course for our new recruits. We’re looking forward to seeing them put their newly learned skills into practice, and a big thank you goes to the instructors who gave their time and expertise to make the course a success.

A great start to the year — teamwork, training, and community support at its best.
