If you're new to trail running, here are a few things that might make those first kms a little easier. ⛰️

👣 You don't need to run every hill. Even experienced trail runners hike.

⏱️ Trail pace can be much slower than road pace. Forget the watch and run by effort.

👟 The right shoes make a huge difference. Grip matters most on the trails.

➡️ Walking is not failing. Moving forward is what counts.

🌟 Experience builds confidence over time. You don't have to feel ready before you begin.

Trail running isn't about being the fastest, it's about exploring, challenging yourself and enjoying the journey 🌿

Yesterday we had a challenging and stunning adventure on the mountains to finish off our current Midweek Mountain Trails series.

An absolutely stunning, steep and sunshine-filled 🌞 morning on the trails!

What goes up = incredible views, laughter and the most gorgeous descent. 🤩

From flowering boreens 🌼 to rocky summits under blue skies, nothing like a summer's morning on the mountains.

So grateful for this group of women 💫 and the conversations, encouragement and shared adventure along the way.
