Shutterfly is on a mission to deliver smarter, more personalized experiences, and we’re hiring two senior tech leaders to help us get there.

*** Manager, Software Engineering (Backend) – Marketing Technology
Lead a team of engineers building high-throughput APIs, real-time data pipelines, and integrations that power our customer engagement and marketing automation at scale. You'll work with AWS, Kafka, Databricks, and more—at the intersection of data, product, and customer experience.

*** Principal Software Architect (Frontend) – Personalization & Martech
A hands-on, cross-functional tech lead role where you’ll set architectural direction, modernize our stack, and mentor engineers across squads. You’ll help shape the systems behind personalization, experimentation, and intelligent marketing—leveraging AWS, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and LLMs.

🥷 Who will join our DevOps ninjas?

Own the CI/CD pipelines that deliver Shutterfly’s mobile apps to millions of users. You’ll build fast, reliable workflows using Python, Jenkins, Gradle, and Xcode — and partner with devs, QA, and more to make every build secure, reproducible, and lightning-fast.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
* 1+ years of experience in software development & administering a central build server
* Strong understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
* Solid knowledge of CI/CD principles
* Hands-on experience with Git
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, Groovy)
* Experience with GitHub
* Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools like SPLUNK or ELK
