Shalom Kelner Sculpture

International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The work denounces the silence of the "enlightened world" in the face of the annihilation of the Jewish people in the Holocaust. I think that monuments which condemn the murderers, and not only those which commemorate the victims, should be erected. Such monuments could make a difference.
And today, there is no silence... There is an attempt to accuse the State of Israel of genocide!!!

On the holiday of Sukkot, as I walked excitedly to the Western Wall in Jerusalem among the crowds of pilgrims, my work "Jerusalem the soul of the Land of Israel" appeared and rose before my eyes.
(Sculpture and carving in oak wood. The dimensions of the complete piece are 3.30 m wide and 1.75 m high). The picture shows the section of the piece dedicated to the pilgrims.
Pilgrimage is a mitzvah from the Torah.
