In a perfect timing, Dave and Roy are at the Annual Health-ISAC Spring Summit this week, booth 9 - and are excited to meet fellow security and compliance leaders.

🎤 Concluding two insightful days at the Automotive Software Strategies Congress in , hosted by Süddeutscher Verlag Veranstaltungen GmbH with Deloitte 🤝

Roy joined a panel discussion with fellow executives, sharing best practices on how and technologies can fast track software development in our industry.

Roy touched on the pivotal role of and the importance of adopting a mindset when it comes to - with examples of car makers halting sales of vehicles due to and software issues.

The Congress offered opportunities to connect with our customers and partners, and last but not least - Deloitte's Andreas Herzig, our own Board Advisor 🤝

Today, we take a moment to celebrate Purim (the Jewish Halloween) - dressing up, exchanging small gifts (OK - candy!), reading the Scroll of Esther, and eating (of course). Had a little custom competition at the office, we think Mrs. Bunny won!

Some of the things we heard in the last 12 months were:
✅ "We’re doing security” (but each team or BU is doing it differently)
✅ “We have a list of hundreds of security controls” (saved in hundreds of files with a lot of manual effort to implement)
✅ “Why should we bother with security when there are no real attacks?” (Software is taking over, amounting bugs and vulnerabilities)
✅ “We’re collaborating” (it’s an Excel file stored in the cloud or an Eclipse, non-web-based tool)
✅ “We have focal points to each supplier” (but with no visibility into their security practices and legal agreements instead of technology)
✅ “We have blue and red teams to identify vulnerabilities” (but no idea of actual risk)
