A year has passed, the stamp remains.
The Philatelic Service at the Israel Post has unveiled the official stamps for the Tokyo Olympics that will open next month (23/7).
The disciplines selected and printed on the three new stamps are swimming, horse riding, and artistic gymnastics.
The person who won the design of the stamps, stamps, and envelope on the first day is the designer Baruch Na'a, owner and CEO of the design and branding company STRATEGIC BRAND DESIGN, with each stamp having two blue stripes symbolizing the Israeli flag, with the Israeli athlete breaking into the coveted medal.
The new stamps will be offered for sale starting June 29 at hundreds of post offices around the country.

The stamps were designed and printed for the original date of the Games in the summer of 2020.
The Games were postponed due to the Corona plague.
The date that appears on the stamps and the year of the games in the logo remains the year 2020 (5702), when the International Olympic Committee decided to keep the original logo in the new year of the games, 2021.
