Del 24 de Febrero al 6 de Junio de 2026, se exhibirá en Madrid el Gran Rollo de Isaías, un manuscrito de 2.200 años de antigüedad y 7,17 metros de largo hallado en las cuevas de Qumrán. La muestra celebra el 60º aniversario del Museo de Israel y narra la fascinante historia del descubrimiento del rollo, su viaje desde el desierto de Judea hasta su adquisición final, permitiendo al público ver por primera vez el manuscrito bíblico completo más antiguo del mundo.

The Great Isaiah Scroll on Display in Madrid
From February 24 to June 6, 2026, Madrid will host the exhibition of the Great Isaiah Scroll, a 2,200-year-old masterpiece measuring 7.17 meters discovered in the Qumran caves. Commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Israel Museum, the exhibit traces the scroll's journey from its accidental discovery by Bedouins to its permanent home, offering a rare opportunity to see the world’s oldest complete biblical manuscript.
