Color Ambassador

I laid this on the seashells today
because this is where it belongs. 🌊

Blue like the deep water.
Green like sea glass caught in sunlight.
Purple like the sky just before sunset.
Caramel like the warm wet sand.

I didn’t choose these colors.

I placed ice on plain white fabric.
Sprinkled just 3 colors of powder
on top. Walked away for 24 hours.

And the ocean found its way in
without me even trying.

Then every single rhinestone
placed by hand. One by one.
Hundreds of them. 💎

What you’re looking at is the only
piece like this anywhere on earth.
The seashells beneath it will
never hold this exact piece again.
