Finally - A sweet victory for Optometry

IOF’s Petition against short term courses was decided in our favor by division bench of Delhi High Court by Chief Justice BN Patel and C . Harishanker in Delhi High court .Finally they gave a verdict which Optometry profession will cherish for ever .
All short term courses like Vision technicians and Eye Mitra and courses conducted by FOREC being certified by Skill Ministry were declared illegal . Skill Ministry is not allowed to award any certification in eye care profession .

Post this order VT practising in Lens cart , Eye Mitra ‘s by Be able and VT’s deployed by all NGO ‘s for independent work in vision centres are declared illegal .
