For the last few months veteran Kathakali actor Kalamandalam Pradeep and his team have been in the efforts to fathom a bit of Spanish. In their studio located in Trivandrum, they flipped the pages of a translated version of Don Quixote, adapting lines, assigning moves and perfecting their Spanish classic novel inspired Kathakali. In an initiative to combine two literary and theatrical cultures, member's of the Margi theatre group will perform 'Kijote Kathakali' at the Niemeyer Centre in Aviles, Northern Spain, this friday.
