Knowledge Villa

A special team of volunteers has been constituted by the Amritsar administration under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society (under supervision of Secretary Samson Masih), KVI Welfare Society led by Bikramjeet Singh, and volunteers from the School of Social Sciences, led by Dr. Sharanpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor. This team has been mobilized to tackle the challenges posed by recent flood situations in various areas of Amritsar, where stagnant water has created health and sanitation concerns. Relief camps are being established across the affected regions, where the team will provide immediate assistance and spread awareness regarding health and hygiene practices.
