What are the Common Gynecological Symptoms for Which You must Consult a Gynecologist?
Vaginal Bleeding and discharge commonly happen with every woman during menstruation. However, if you notice anything different, you must not let that go ignored and must consult your gynecologist. Mild symptoms can be treated but severe cases, and cases, which are ignored for a long time, may lead to infertility. Some va**nal symptoms may indicate s*xually transmitted diseases or may be even cervical cancers. You must consult your doctor if you have the following symptoms.
• If you are getting your periods too early or too late.
• Abnormal va**nal bleeding during periods or in between periods
• Pain in the pelvic area and it must not be related to menstrual cramps.
• Breast pain and Breast Lumps in Women.
• Burning sensation during passing urine.
• Vaginal bleeding while having s*x or after having s*x.
• Painful s*xual in*******se.
• Itching, swelling or redness in va**nal area.
• Any abnormal lump or mass in the ge***al area.
• Increased va**nal discharge.
• Vaginal discharge with unpleasant odor or of unusual color like green, yellow, or brown

Moisturizers and lubricants often help.
For va**nal dryness by itself, I recommend trying over-the-counter moisturizers and lubricants.
Vaginal moisturizers add moisture around and inside the va**na. There are two types. Internal moisturizers are inserted into the va**na, where they help build up va**nal tissue. External moisturizers are made for the v***a.
Lubricants decrease discomfort during in*******se. Sexually active women should use lubricants in addition to a va**nal moisturizer. I prefer water-based lubricants, though they don’t last as long as silicone-based products. Skip oil-based lubricants. They can cause irritation and make condoms less effective.
See your ob-gyn if irritation and pain during s*x don’t improve after 2 months of use, or if you have other symptoms.
Hormonal treatments also may be an option.
I often talk with patients about hormonal treatments when va**nal dryness comes along with urinary symptoms or menopausal symptoms, such as hot flashes.
Estrogen creams and tablets are inserted a few times a week into the va**na. Creams must be measured and can get messy. Tablets are a good alternative.
Vaginal rings are placed in the va**na by the patient. They release a low dose of estrogen over 90 days.

Can you get pregnant on your period?
You sure can! Although the risk of pregnancy is lower during your period, it is still a good idea to use some form of birth control to avoid unintentional pregnancies.
What to do if your period comes late ?
First, do not panic! It is common for periods to not always come 28 days apart on the dot. A typical menstrual cycle falls between 21-34 days, but there are quite a few factors that can affect the regularity of periods including weight gain or loss, stress, diet, medication, excessive exercise, and other lifestyle factors.
If your period does not come within 35 days and you are s*xually active, you should take a pregnancy test even if you are on birth control. If a pregnancy test comes back negative or you are not s*xually active, you should check in with your doctor who may want to conduct tests to determine the cause of this irregularity.
