I have a history of shoulder issues (torn supraspinatus on both sides/ labral tear on my left shoulder). 

When I was doing #physicaltherapy to regain functionality, we spent a lot of time building my posterior and medial deltoids to take pressure off of the front of my shoulder and to improve my ability to externally rotate my shoulders.

This is a great exercise to accomplish these goals. As an added bonus, it also helps the shoulders look f***ing ripped.

Working your core isn’t just about building a 6-pack (it definitely helps, though). A strong core helps improve posture, athletic performance and can help ease back pain.

You don’t need to do crunches to build your abs. I don’t do ‘em at all. I can’t. I have a history of neck and shoulder issues. It’s okay. There are so many other/ better exercises that build core strength.
