'Kudam Puli' or Malabar Tamarind is a Kerala staple. When you think of Kerala fish curry, what is the image that your mind conjures? That's right! The red, spicy one with curry leaves and tamarind bejewelling the pot!
Well...we present to you the most humble ingredient that lends it's tartness to this very lovely fish curry - the 'Kudam Puli'.
Every mallu pantry is sure to have it and every mallu mother is sure to swear by it too!
