𝗔𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵❟ 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲.

Google is renaming 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 to 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲, as it moves efforts to bringing more of the business profile management out of the Google My Business app and directly into Google Search, Google Maps and those respective apps. Google said the reason for the new name is to “keep things simple” and sometime in 2022, Google will retire the Google My Business app completely.

You can either just search for your business name in Google Search or Google Maps for businesses or search for “my business” in Google Search to see the business you have already claimed and verified.

✅ Your account must be associated with a genuine person, company, or brand.

✅ Your account must be one-of-a-kind. Verification is limited to one account per person or business; however, language-specific accounts are exempt.

✅ The visibility of your account must be set to public.

✅ Your account must be completely filled out. You must have a comprehensive bio, a profile photo, and at least one post to qualify.

✅ Your account must be well-known. While this is a little ambiguous, Instagram asks that your account be "well-known" and "frequently searched for."

Even if you've checked all of the boxes, Instagram may still refuse your verification request. Although Instagram's decision-making process is a secret, there are things you can do to improve your application's chances of success.

👉Promote your account across other social networking platforms.

👉Maintain your style guide.

👉Maintain a consistent username throughout all social media platforms.

👉Include a link to your website on your profile.

👉Write an awesome bio.

👉Choose a photograph that best reflects your company.

👉If you have a connection with a verified account, be sure to indicate that in your bio.
