Eleven years ago, SmartQ started with a simple belief: that the everyday experience of getting food at work deserved to be better. What followed was built alongside every client, every food partner, and every team member who showed up consistently.
Today, we mark the beginning of SmartQ 3.0 and we're glad it was shared in the presence of Chris Chidley, CEO, Compass Group India, whose belief in what we're building has meant more than words can capture.
Here's what this chapter looks like:

๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ต๐ถ๐ธ ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐๐ต steps in as CEO. Operationally sharp, deeply familiar with the business, and the right person to lead SmartQ through its next stage of scale.
๐๐ฏ๐ต๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ธ ๐๐๐ต๐ผ๐ธ, our Co-Founder and CTO, also steps back from his executive role. The technology backbone of SmartQ every system, every integration, every product decision that scaled was built with his hands and his mind. That contribution doesn't step down with the title.

When the LPG crisis hit, our food partners bore the weight of it more than most. Running a partner kitchen through a national fuel shortage is not easy- the pressure on supply, cash flow, and daily operations was real and relentless.
We have always believed that a partnership is only as real as it is during the hard moments. So when the crisis escalated, we did not just focus on keeping our cafeterias running. We stood right next to our partners and asked- what do you need right now to get through this?
The answers were specific. Cash flow. Visibility on LPG stocks. Access to supply. A more efficient way to operate under pressure. So that is exactly what we worked on, at every level, with every partner.
