Exploring the Innovative Ecosystem of IISc with EntIISc: A Fascinating Journey of Learning and Discovery for Aspiring Entrepreneurs!"

On 21st April 2023, a group of students visited EntIISc, the entrepreneurial hub of the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), for an enlightening experience. The visit commenced with a discussion session, where the students got a chance to interact with the experts at EntIISc and learn about the various initiatives, programs and resources available for budding entrepreneurs. The experts also shared their own experiences and provided valuable insights into the startup ecosystem.

Following the discussion, the students were taken on a tour of the entire IISc campus, where they got a chance to witness the cutting-edge research facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure of the institute. The tour concluded with a visit to EntIISc, where the students were able to see firsthand how the center operates and facilitates innovation and entrepreneurship.

Overall, the visit to EntIISc proved to be an enriching experience for the students, who gained valuable knowledge and insights about the startup ecosystem and the role of institutions like IISc in nurturing and supporting entrepreneurship.

The Y20 Summit was held at IISc on April 20th, organized by the CII Young India India forum in collaboration with EntIISc, was a resounding success. The event brought together some of the brightest young minds from across India to discuss and deliberate on some of the most pressing global challenges facing our world today. With insightful discussions, engaging debates and a spirit of collaboration, the Y20 Summit showcased the power of youth leadership in shaping the future of our world.

The life of an entrepreneur is not easy - from learning to keep the company afloat to convincing investors to fund the start-up. Some might even call it a brutal life till the start-up finds its footing. Ganesh Balakrishnan's heartwarming story is a story of humility and courage.

Flatheads Shoes is a contemporary & casual Indian shoe brand that makes shoes with innovative materials such as bamboo and banana fiber.

Ganesh Balakrishnan, the co-founder of Flatheads Shoes, also appeared on the fifth episode of 'Shark Tank India' Season 2 to raise funds for his start-up.

Team EntIISc is very excited to welcome him on our campus for his inspiring and insightful talks .

Students from diverse backgrounds participated in this and gave their ingenious ideas.

Winners got a cash prize. Everyone was contented and got books and scrumptious dinner.
