Earth Day 2026 🌱 | Coorg

Serendipity had its own plan on 22nd April 2026.

This year I decided to be in Coorg to bring in Earth Day surrounded by Nature. It is also my native place. Where my roots belong.

A simple visit to Gateway Coorg in the afternoon turned into a meaningful Earth Day moment for me.

I had the opportunity to meet two passionate nature icons who are residing there, Ganesh - The Birdman of Coorg and Anoop - Naturalist. What followed was a spontaneous yet heartfelt conversation marking the 13th year of my Earth Day journey.

We spoke about their ongoing efforts in conservation, the quiet work happening on the ground, and the shared belief that nature in Coorg, when observed deeply, becomes both a teacher and a healer.

Sometimes, Earth Day doesn’t need a stage.

It simply unfolds through people, purpose, and presence.
